The City offers three Stewardship Programs that allow citizens with a passion for environment restoration an opportunity to serve in their community by leading volunteer projects.
The Sammamish Stewards preserve, protect and promote the natural environment within the City of Sammamish. The Sammamish Stewards are a volunteer group of community members actively involved in many areas of environmental work. More info at the Sammamish Stewardship website or contact for specific details at firstname.lastname@example.org
Learn More About Sammamish Stewardship:
After gaining trail building skills and experience working with Washington Trails Association (WTA), Trail Stewards lead trail work parties in Sammamish parks and preserves. To volunteer with WTA, visit their volunteer event calendar.
After completing the Washington Native Plant Society's Stewardship Program, Plant Stewards give back to their community by planning and organization restoration in our parks.
